Wireless Communication using MMSE Equalizer, OFDM and MIMO

The wireless communication requires high data rates, high capacity, and reliable communication with the less error in reception. In recent years, OFDM-based transmission systems emerged as the scheme with the potential to fulfill these conditions, with bandwidth efficiency and robustness to frequency selective channels, common in mobile communication systems. The communication environment changes quickly and thus introduces more complexities and uncertainties to the channel response. OFDM is one of the best multiplexing techniques which compensates for the Inter-symbol-interference as well as co-channel interference. OFDM along with Multi-input Multi-output (MIMO) transmitting strategies result in high capacity and high data rate. MMSE equalizer under the multipath fading and MIMO strategy has improved Bit Error Rate performance in our paper.
